Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently taking a six week break from royal duty following the explosive documentary, which aired in October, in which they discussed their struggles to cope with the media spotlight.

Are Prince Harry and Märtha Louise really cousins?

While Durek called the duo ‘cousins’, Prince Harry and Märtha Louise are distantly related through the Queen.

Märtha Louise’s father King Harald and the Queen are both great-grandchildren of British King Edward VII.

Harry told presenter Tom Bradby how he still struggles to deal with the ‘incredibly raw’ death of his mother, Princess Diana.

He also admitted that his anxieties require ‘constant management’ and said felt he and his brother were on ‘different paths’.

He made the comments in the TV documentary where he also attacked the press over the public scrutiny that he and wife Meghan Markle have faced.

Meghan meanwhile told of the the pressure of life in the spotlight, saying she had ‘no idea’ of the struggles she would deal with as a member of the Royal Family.

She revealed her friends warned her not to marry Harry because the media focus would ‘destroy your life’, and admitted that since the wedding and during her pregnancy she felt ‘vulnerable.’

Durek called royal life ‘a crash course’ and said he himself had had ‘maybe seven meltdowns’ since his relationship with the princess hit the headlines in May of this year.

Prince Harry and Meghan’s honesty about the struggles of royal life may have struck a nerve with Märtha Louise, who has faced her own criticism this year.

In August it was announced she wouldn’t use her Princess title unless officially representing Norwegian royal family after she was accused of exploiting her hereditary status for commercial gain for calling her spiritual speaking tour with Durek ‘The Princess and the Shaman’.

She said the decision had come ‘in collaboration’ with the royal family, and ‘we have found that it is best that we make some changes.’

Märtha Louise, who hosted the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during their trip to Norway in February last year, is known for taking a down-to-earth approach to royal life.

She has long been interested in spiritual practises and last year travelled to India for a retreat with friends.

Märtha Louise has faced her own challenges this year, after she was heavily criticised for using her title for commercial gain for calling her spiritual speaking tour with Durek 'The Princess and the Shaman'.

In 2007 there were calls for her to renounce her royal title after she announced plans to open a school that would train people to communicate with the angelic realm.

Sources previously told DailyMail.com they are ‘madly in love’, and that they initially met when the royal was one of Durek’s clients.

Durek works with clients from all walks of life, including Hollywood celebrities and insiders, musicians and reality TV stars, professionals and European royalty.

He’s dubbed Gwyneth his ‘soul sister’ and her husband Brad Falchuk his ‘spirit brother’ and has been interviewed for Goop on subjects like getting rid of negative energy.
